I live within walking distance to Jet Set, Lionheart, Symposium and Starbucks, but Jet Set is the only one I go to on a regular basis. The make their own pastries and bagels, plus cinnamon rolls on Sundays, whereas none of the other coffee shops do.
The staff are friendly and knew my name after my first couple visits. I've told them their everything bagels have spoiled me as I now don't like everything bagels from any other place. In fact, I love the everything bagels so much that if I move, I'm either going to have to have them shipped or buy them in bulk. Seriously, they are the best!!!
My other faves are the marionberry muffins, the oatmeal cake and the scones. I haven't had the pie, though they have rotating flavors, but it looks amazing, too.
There is covered outside seating, so I often bring my dog, who always hopes Jackie is working so she will get some treats!
Oh yeah, I also love the decor, retro airport! Stop by soon!! -

Freshly made bagels and scones ! I found this place filtering breakfast places by ratings and it did not disappoint. Worth the drive out of downtown for a visitor like me.
Great work ! -

This isn't just a coffee shop; it's a bakery and a community gathering place as well.
All items are baked onsite. My favorite bakery item is the oatmeal spice cake. It is AWESOME. But I also love their bagels. They have traditional (plain and sesame) and non traditional flavors (sea salt & herb and spent grain).
They are dog friendly having a water bowl available, treats and even puppacinos.
And lastly, they are the friendliest nicest people ever.
If you like caramel, try their real caramel latte. It's the best in town! -

Can't believe I waited this long to try Jet Set. I always go to Lionheart down the street (which also has phenomenal coffee), but I found Jet Set to be more accommodating for studying. I could spend longer periods of time here because they also make savory foods--not just donuts and sweets that I normally settle for at coffee shops. I got myself a punch card and will definitely be back for their spacious work environment, jazz music, breakfast sandwich (on a delicious salt and herb bagel), and reasonably priced lattes.
